HMS Howe 8th February 1943 She was a King George V-class battleship of the Royal Navy, named after Admiral Richard Howe and was originally to be named HMS Beatty.

HMS Warspite - 2nd June 1943 She was a Queen Elizabeth-class battleship of the Royal Navy. Launched in November 1913. During World War II, she was given the nickname "The Grand Old Lady". During the Battle of Calabria she was credited with achieving the longest range gunnery hit from a moving ship to a moving target in history, a range of approximately 26,000 yards
